5 REASONS WHY YOU’RE ALWAYS BLOATED

You ever wake up in the morning and find yourself bloated? I know we've all been there. Even though we have eaten pretty healthy earlier and still feel our belly is bigger than it ought to be. We are left wondering "Why am I always so bloated?"

Bloating is a problem caused by several different factors. Finding the cause is a mind-boggling task, let alone getting rid of it. After dealing with months of bloating during my journey, I have learnt a thing or two about it and I am here to help you girl!

Read on to leave the problem of bloating way behind and solely focus on your weight loss journey. You just have to figure out the evil root of your bloating. Once you reach the root, the rest will be history.

1. YOU MAY BE DEHYDRATED

Funny thing, but as simple as this is, lack of enough water freaks out your body. When you are not drinking enough water, your body prepares for it by retaining whatever water it has. And do you know what water retention leads to? Yeah, BLOAT!

So, as soon as you get this issue covered, you will find that belly deflate. Drink up, girl!

You should at least aim for 2-3 litres a day. But make sure to drink your water sip by sip and not gulp down ounces at once. Carrying a bottle everywhere you go might help you up your water intake. Go, get a big, cute bottle and hydrate!

2. YOUR NUTRITION IS NOT ON TRACK

Certain food you eat may be leading to your bloating problem. Some common culprits are dairy, salt, fructose and wheat. So, if you feel bloated all the time, try keeping a track of what you may have eaten the night before and clean up your diet for a week. Eating more dairy-free, plant-based and less processed food can help a LOT with bloating.

3. LACK OF FIBER

Bloating and Constipation often goes hand in hand. How uncomfortable it may sound, we gotta address the elephant in the room, right? If you are not pooping healthy, bloating will naturally follow. An easy cure is to get your body's functions moving the way they should. Eat more fiber to counter constipation and you will be instantly relieved.

4. UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITION

Frequent bloating may be an indication of something much bigger going on in your body. Certain health conditions may cause bloating and getting the right treatment will surely help. Few conditions that can cause belly bloat are Thyroid, IBS, Gastroparesis, etc

5. FOCUS ON YOUR GUT HEALTH

An imbalance in your gut microbiome could be the hidden cause if you are bloated. Few other symptoms to look out for a gut problem are fatigue or upset stomach. If your gut needs care, include probiotics or prebiotics in your diet. Eat lots of fermented foods to restore the balance of the gut microbiome.

There are a whole bunch of causes of bloating such as Eating fast or lack of movement, etc.  But ultimately, it means that something’s off in your body, so it’s worth looking at each of these issues. Find the cause, fix it, and the bloating will go away too.
